Market Basket is definitely by far the best supermarket around. I save so much money shopping with them. The Market Basket in Gloucester is next to my home and they went above and beyond making my daughters birthday cake. I wanted to share the amazing job they did. Definitely shop here. I enjoy shopping at Market Basket. The employees are polite and friendly. I have often gone down an aisle where two or more are stocking shelves and they are singing along with the music 🎶 playing. If I need something that I can not find, they've always been more than happy to check in the store room for it. It's the best! …

Still the best stocked supermarket in Gloucester. The downside is that it is the busiest as well so if you can go early in the morning or around 3 in the afternoon, it is less busy. Great bakery and prepared foods section, as well as made to order station serving sandwiches, pizza, wings and more. Staff are consistently friendly and helpful.

We love our local Market Basket. Good selection and overall good service. Cashiers could be more friendly, however. I often find they say nothing to me but will chatter with a colleague while I'm moving through checkout,often in another language.

In my opinion, best grocery store in town. Has a great selection of items, and the prices are by far the best. In many cases, every day prices are nearly 50% if not more, cheaper than most any place in town. Staff is friendly and they always get you through checkout quickly. Best yet, the staff have been well trained on service dog etiquette which is extremely appreciated!

Awesome kitchen worker's. They all work hard even though they are understaffed.they all are very kind and curitious. I just love how it seems like a warm family feeling for those who work in the market's kitchen. Also the deli workers are great. The meat department is also great.and every single manager is so kind and friendly and they run the store the very best.market basket Gloucester is the best supermarket I have ever been in Good job to all the dedicated workers. And I think everyone deserves a raise.with fair pay. So ownership should stop being so selfish and pay all your workers a pay they can survive on.not penny's on the dollar.you won't get a pay raise thereand.trust me I know two and a half years never a raise.but I have friends forever. Greatest market basket ever.and the prices can't be beat.also I appreciate fresh food..thank you for the love.

The store was clean, well stocked, and had the usual market basket layout. The parking lot is very large although shared with other businesses. We had some pleasant baked goods from their bakery.

Always busy and always great! Just finished a pre-Patriots Game Day Sunday morning shop! The store and the parking lot were quite crowded and daunting! As always, amazing produce, meats, fish and prepared foods! Quite good steak bomb subs, new steak tip subs, fantastic roast chickens, soups, burgers and fries! They even have a sushi chef! 🍣 🍱 The produce section is like a farmers market! The employees are so polite and efficient! A clear sign of workers who like their jobs and managers! So lucky to have such a great supermarket near us!

Amazing grocery store! Challenging to navigate the first few times. The store is well stocked. Inventory stays fresh due to high demand. I appreciate the professionalism of the staff including wearing a tie and jacket. Staff are generally available and helpful. I also appreciate the diversity of staff and customers. If you are willing to shop in a crowded store, Market Basket is far superior to Shaws and Stop and Shop.
